Enable location permissions

For the app to keep track of geotags for Photos and Timesheets, location permissions need to be enabled.

The first time you open the app, you will be asked to grant location permissions. If you click deny, you will have to follow these steps to re-enable.

Enabling Location Permissions on iOS

  1. Open the Settings app
  2. Select Privacy
  3. Select Location Services
  4. Scroll down and select Safari Websites
  5. Tick ‘Ask Next Time Or When I Share’

When you next open the app, you’ll be prompted to grant location permission.

Enabling Location Permissions on Android

  1. Open Chrome (even if you normally launch the PWA from your home screen) and go to https://app.fortherecord.pro
  2. Tap the three dots ⋮ Settings.
  3. Go to Site settings.
  4. Tap Location.
  5. Scroll down to the Blocked list.
  6. Find app.fortherecord.pro in the list.
  7. Tap it and change permission to Allow.
